With more than 20 years' experience in IT, entertainment and esports, Désiré Koussawo is a well-known figure in the French gaming community, the political sphere and among professionals, far beyond esports.

Désiré is the Managing Director of ESL France, a subsidiary of the largest esports company in the world, and the cofounder and honorary president of Futurolan Association, organizer of Gamers Assembly, the biggest France Lan-Party. He is also heavily invested in the development and shaping of esports alongside public actors: locally, regionally, but also nationally with France Esports association.

General Counsel

Andrew is a leading entertainment lawyer, specialising in music, sport and esports. He has supported in delivering live events to more than 8 million people, from sponsorship activations through to global football tournaments (and even Papal visits).

During his eight years as General Counsel and Head of Strategy for Flash Entertainment in Abu Dhabi, he and his team received awards (including ‘department of the year’ and ‘general counsel of the year’) from Legal500, Legal Week and the Asia-MENA In-House Community organisation. Andrew was also a board member at Ticketmaster Middle East Ltd.

He now heads the legal function at Fnatic, the leading team in esports and a pioneer in the pro gaming space.

Born in Madrid, Alfredo is an executive with more 10+ years of experience in the sports industry, always working in international companies. Alfredo joined LaLiga as Digital Strategy Director in 2017 after spending three years leading Facebook Media Partnerships Team in Spain and Portugal, where he worked closely with the main sports and news publishers in both regions to help them achieve their business objectives and build broader audiences. Before that he spent seven years as Head of International Clients within the sponsorship team of Real Madrid.

Majed Al Suwaidi is Managing Director of Dubai Media City, Dubai Studio City, and Dubai Production City.

He provides strategic direction and ensures steady growth of three media-focused business districts, home to more than 3,000 companies 34,000 professionals. As the Managing Director of this integrated creative ecosystem which is home to many Fortune 500 companies from around the world, entrepreneurs and startups alike, he plays a key role in positioning Dubai as an international media hub.

Prior to this role, Al Suwaidi was Managing Director of Dubai Internet City and Dubai Outsource City. Under his leadership, the integrated ICT hub became a strategic partner of the Smart Dubai initiative that is driving Dubai’s transformation into one of the smartest cities in the world.

In a previous role as Director of Business Development for Dubai Internet City and Dubai Outsource City, he was part of the team that launched in5, an enabling platform for tech, media and design entrepreneurs.

He has also served as Director of Commercial Operations and Director of Sales at Dubai Internet City and prior to that gained invaluable experience with Dubai International Financial Centre and Emirates Airlines.

Amongst his other responsibilities, Al Suwaidi is a Board Member for Young Arab Leaders.

He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from American University in Dubai and an MBA in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
